MSFT Interviewer Tells Me To Stop Talking
We are 34 years old couple who make $255K TC in HCOL area (Savings: $80K cash, stocks: $70K) Rent: $3550 (let’s say other bills and grocery are $1000) so spending $4550 monthly on an estimate. I want to buy a single house eventually so savings are important. Can I afford to lease an Audi A7 brand new? How much am I looking to spend monthly on that? Is leasing worth it or will I be losing a lot of money? Edit/Update: thank you for your suggestions. I am not trying to look rich. I used to own an audi a7 before moving to the US and loved the car. I wanted to stick with that or something similar 1. Based on my budget, what other car suggestions do you have for me? 2. Should I buy or lease? 3. Buy all cash or loan?
Not with that TC if you want to save for a house. You're looking at maybe 1k+ to lease that car. Also I doubt your other expenses will be only 1k.
lol i hope you like your job. Maybe stick with a used Toyota.
Why? I can understand Q7 if you need space. What is A7 for?
Tesla model 3 max you can afford
Leasing a car never works out in your favor.
No don’t do this. The novelty will wear off after 3 months but the $1k+ payments will continue for 3 years. Can’t you satisfy the luxury car itch with a smaller car? Audi Q3, BMW x3, Tesla Model Y/3…..
Why would you lease a car??? Much less an expensive one
No. With a net worth of $150K you cannot afford an $80-$90K vehicle (assuming California tax and license fees).
Just get X7 instead
