Key management service. Like couple outages per week. Grunty oncall I just moved out and have so much spare time for a second job
How frequent is oncall? What happens if you are unable to take a call while on duty (eg go to gym)?
Lol if no resp in 15 mins it pages leadership all the way to VP. Oncalls are times people skip sleep, food so forget gym and other activities. Frequency was once per 1.5 months
Other that oncall how’s the work and wlb?
KMS is one of the critical services for any cloud provider, be it OCI, Azure or AWS. These services have highly scalable and distributed systems with lot of opportunities for technical growth. Operations can be involved, but looks like OCI KMS has a counterpart India team which should help.
