Hi, I'm looking at some Connecticut listings for ASML and they all mention that one must be willing to work in a cleanroom of varying noise levels. This is for software people. Is such really often done? I know that being in cleanroom suits and etc can be uncomfortable often. It gets hot, uncomfortable, etc
Not that uncomfortable lol
How noisy is it? Iโm hard of hearing with hearing aids and being in a suit like that is intimidating
I see your point. It all depends on what module you would be working on. As a software engineer the odds of going to the cleanroom is dramatically reduced, but even if you do it's not that loud unless you are very close to the machines. The heat is something that you can get used to but that's only an issue if you do hard physical labor. I don't see it as a barrier for a software engineer
Yeah this is semi often, you just wear a T shirt and shorts and get in your clean room suit. You can wear what ever you want clothes wise
