[Seattle] Best Lamb chops ... eva!!!!

Nov 10

I visited a restaurant called IndiaGate in Bellevue and I ordered Lamb chops. These are the most heavenly lamb chops Ive ever eaten. They were little expensive $17 but they were unbelievably succulent!

$17 lol. Lamb chops at a nice fine dining restaurant usually go for around $40

    • I've never been to a fine dining restaurant. Is there a Indian fine dining restaurant with $40 lamb chops? Care to share the name?

It has to be Indian? Plenty of fine dining restaurants serve rack of lamb, but I don’t know of any Indian ones. El Gaucho has a nice rack of lamb dish that’s $56

The lamb at Moksha in Bellevue is $30. The lamb at Naan β€˜n Curry is $21. $17 is cheap, even among Indian restaurants.

A good wine with food should cost $100. $17 meal is for peasants

    • I have visited Brazilian meat places but all they put is salt. The meat is very high quality but it takes bland to me

Waste of good lamb cutlets. Minimal spices and cooked well is best....like a steak

    • I like my meat cooked and spiced. Raw meat is very annoying to me. I have tried American steak and all I tasted was salt. Didn't work for me.

Didn't say uncooked, "cooked well" denotes being done to the way most suitable for the meat. Over spiced on good quality meat takes away the point of having good quality meat at all.
Also on lamb I never salt it

    • What you are saying is 100% true for western meat eaters. But most Indian meat eaters (not westernized) prefer spicy meat.

Also in India when we say meat we mean lamb because most people there don't eat pork or beef

Is it too spicy for non-Indians?
    Nov 102
    • Not spicy. My children don't eat spice at all and they were able to eat it easily.
