Recent Masters grad currently making less than $100k in an office/corporate job. What are some non-technical, non-sales jobs I should consider for making $110k - $120k base salary? I have a Computer Science-related degree but no work experience in degree area. I realize this is not a great salary in areas like the Bay Area, New York, DC, Seattle, etc. so jobs outside of those areas would be great.
Master’s was a waste of time
I'm no longer interested in pursuing my field of study but I need to get some return from this degree one way or another.
But whats ur degree?
Product management or maybe recruiting, but I don't know if recruiting pays that well until you're actually good at it and have the numbers to back it up. So probably PM. Those are tough jobs to get but having some technical background helps.
Sales engineer, service manager, those roles at network vendors might help. Also look into customer support roles.
What’s your current role at THD?
Business Analyst
I’d stay at THD and go into their new focus which is Product Managers...
