Have a Bcom degree and 5 years of work experience. Cleared CPA here from US. Company is willing to file h1b. How likely it is to get rejected as I am not sure whether accounting is a specialty occupation?
Sorry but it’s not a specialized skill. Higher chances for rejection. I am assuming u are on H4 EAD right now.

CPA pass rate is almost 50%..but the locals will demand at least minimum 100k n above ..I know few people who work in H1b with CPA ..if you can compromise the salary part they will be willing to sponsor ..its again a capitalist economy ..try for the big 4 like PwC, D&T,E&Y , KPMG...they will easily sponsor you and they need tons of people with their high attrition rate
