What is the % of return do you get from 401k yearly. Please do not count employer contribution.
Seriously how are you getting 30%? This year my Small Company Index fund is only getting 6%
My chase private client managed account has returned over 30% for the past couple yrs. My other accounts are up roughly double. It’s a mix of my fav tech stocks.
Why would you have a client managed account? And how much in fees are you paying them annually?

My 401k returns is following the market. Simply because I have low fees index funds that buy the market. So it's pretty irrelevant what return you did. Just buy the market. That's it.

Over what period of time? Should we average through the 2008 recession? Only the last five years? Only the last year? Calculations are very different depending on the time involved.
