So not entirely sure why to pay Extra $150 on the newer model. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/compare?skus=6290160,6200118&url=%2Fsite%2Ftvs%2Fall-flat-screen-tvs%2Fabcat0101001.c%3Fid%3Dabcat0101001%26qp%3Dbrand_facet%253DBrand%7ESamsung%255Etvscreensizerange_facet%253DTV%2520Screen%2520Size%7E65%2522%2520-%252069%2522%26sp%3D%252Bcurrentprice%2520skuidsaas&productString= NU6070 Series v NU7100 Series Opinion ?
Why not QLED?
The cheaper one is fine, although I’d look at the comparable LG’s as well.
Sony is better
Go to Costco and see it with your own eyes , QLED is not too much more, but way better
Max budget was $500. Spending a little over that by getting the first one for $600. Little tight as finishing up loans as well.
Get the cheaper one. It’ll be great, and you can get an ‘ultra-nice’ one later
Apart from screen quality which is definitely the 90% reason why you should buy a TV, the small 10% goes to computing power in TV. Fast load times , inbuilt netflix and ARC support are features you would love one used to .
Go to Walmart and buy their 65 inch 4K tv for only $400! You still have time, go now!
OLED is the best. Get a 55 inch OLED if you can’t afford 65. Once you goled you don’t like any other TVs
I think it’s just because there are a lot of crap screens, a high quality screen of any type with eg Dolby Vision is gonna be pretty comparable
I did the whole comparison. Especially with the beautiful Sony 900 series and the fake OLED a la Samsung QLED. Nothing and I repeat it again Nothing compared to LG OLED. The sound is crap on the TV, you need Atmos sound bar or better still atmos speaker setup to truly match the outstanding picture quality.

You can’t get an OLED for $600
