Self hosted -> kubeflow -> CMLE -> AutoML -> ML APIs This is the chain of easiness of doing ML. With ML APIs you just concentrate on results and you get what you get. No modifications allowed. For AutoML, you get the algorithm free but need to tune it and use the model yourself. Below that , you basically own the data and algorithms but can abstract away the hardware management. Depends on your use case, all the options are valid depending on how much flexibility you need at the cost of maintenance overhead.
