I canโt decide if I want to wait for the Navi GPUs or buy an Nvidia 2080 right now. Give us the scoop AMD people.
If AMD graphics at 7nm are still slower than NVidia graphics at 12nm....that would be really sad, no?
Something to consider is that Turing looks to be a short cycle, perhaps the shortest in Nvidia history. Nvidia wants to jump to 7nm asap, possibly in Q4 2019. Coincidentally this is the same time as Navi is rumored to launch. Bottom line is unless AMD can pull a Ryzen for Navi, it'll likely continue the onslaught for Nvidia.

I havenโt done shit today!
The 2080ti is double the vega 64. Dont think amd will be catching up anytime soon. Also I suggest a used 1080ti instead of the 2080. Similar performance for cheap. RTX might end up a gimmick like hairworks.
