I like her. She represents the Left well. Raised in White culture, brought up in wealth and went to elite schools just like most of America. On the plus side she is an excellent dancer.
Many politicians from both sides were brought up in wealth and went to elite schools. The difference is the ones on the right want to keep it that way.
But she deserves credit for time spent slumming it as a waitress to develop a story. That must have taken some sacrifice. Ain't no Flashdance plot story but it's enough to fool the center left.
Im a moderate liberal, and I think shes annoying as fuck. Her ideas are just as dangerous as far right/alt right people.
If you like the job that moderate Democrats have done, fair enough - her politics probably just won’t appeal to you. But is single-payer healthcare really the same level as ethno-states and forced segregation?

1. Nobody cares about the GOP's indignation over her dancing 2. Nobody cares that she owned the Trumptards epic style either Seriously, the only times her dancing is mentioned is from people complaining about Republican attacks against her.
So she’s the first social media congresswoman. Has absolutely no political achievements before getting elected, and when she does get elected she immediately calls for higher taxes so that DC swamp creatures can get more rich. But progressives are fine with this because she looks good on social media and dances?

She’s really the perfect candidate for the modern democrat party. Tech companies love her cause she has a strong social media presence that brings a lot of engagement. The MSM loves her for the same reason. The DC lifers love her cause they can use her as a vector to massively expand government programs so they profit off of them. One day progressives might wake up to the fact that they’re getting played by the DC creatures who represent 8 of the 10 richest counties in the country. But it’s a near certainty they won’t.
