API @Netflix
Have always been impressed with Netflix especially in the early years when their APIs were public - are there any API focused teams / roles were innovation happens at Netflix or everything is an API so it’s pretty much everybody’s job?

How best to look for opportunities especially in product ?
There is! It's in an org called Edge engineering. Some of the open source things that have come out of Edge include Hystrix, Zuul, and RxJava
