Looking for anyone who can give insight into the differences between a Partner SA and Customer SA. I’m being recruited for the Partner role but coming from a customer facing sales engineering role, I’m somewhat hesitant. Concerns going Partner over customer: 1) Will that make moving up to higher level customer related roles more difficult? 2) Pay difference? 3) Feel you may not see or solution as many interesting use cases (wouldn’t partner be more about integration more so than building?) Any feedback appreciated

Enterprise customer mostly works with a partner who helps them with implementation. Your role as a Partner SA is to help various partners. You will see more enterprise use cases as a PSA. Also, as a PSA, you will bring more money, which will help in your growth. Compensation range is same for PSA and CSA.
