Does anyone have any insight on WLB / travel for AWS consultants at amazon?
So the up to 50% travel is a lie?
It depends on customer you are working with. If he is in the same city as yours, then it's no travel at all.
How much of a choice do you have picking what project / customer you’ll work with? I’m in the Chicagoland area.
I am thinking of accepting a role for an aws consultant. I was told I have control over picking projects to mitigate travel. Is this true?
Not sure, didn’t start yet
Update on this?
70 percent of your work is travel. I myself am planning to move into the role by end of the year. Timelines are cluelessly stupid.
So the up to 50% travel is a lie?
It varies 50 percent at least is travel, at least being the keyword. Pay is good
