AWS Sales

Hello, looking for any insight regarding AWS sales, specifically the “Named Account Manager” role. Does anyone have any insights regarding: signing bonus, base salary, OTE, how big the territories are, etc? Where does the Named Account Manager Role fall on the sales hierarchy at AWS? I am told account size ranges from 300m-1.5b in revenue I would potentially be leaving an “Enterprise Role” elsewhere for role. Any other insights are greatly appreciated.

AWS Sales is mostly a sea of incompetent fuckwit's. I mean, like, really dumb. So negotiate like hell, juice up your offer and signing bonus (monthly, FFS), run a couple years in role and run like the wind elsewhere.

I love it, at amazon 5 years, at AWS 2 yrs. great signing bonus (stock) and competitive pay w/ high cap. You are selling a great product so I enjoy my job rather than getting paid 4% more and working at Microsoft or somewhere else

What is the expectation on being in the office in sales? Do they expect you there if not f2f with client? Any ideas on pay range for a senior account manager role?

They are pretty flexible with that but depends on the team/manager. The only with the sales in AWS is that it all depends on what kind of accounts you handle. If you get good growing ones.. you are sorted and ll make more money than any of your peer.
