I am currently doing an online training course for AWS associate (a cloud guru). But I also want to get a book to use along with it. What would be a good book as of today that will help? As I know things change rapidly and the books I can find are for ppl who took the 2017 test. I probably wont be able to take the actual test til beginning of next year. Any tips?
Just use the docs they have on AWS site. Email them to a kindle
I passed the associate exam by using cloudguru and YouTube AWS channel. I practised on my personal AWS account
Ganddoo, did you read any docs? Or passed just by watching all the ACG videos?
ACG videos mainly . Researched their forums to read the experience of people who had already given exam before me. Then attended YouTube videos and read docs only for those topics
You don't need a book. I'm a certified architect associate. I only used cloud Guru and FAQs...along with practice tests on the web. This was sufficient and I had 89%. YMMV.
I was looking for similar information and found this book, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Official Study Guide: Associate Exam
Nah don’t buy books for aws certs. I’d say buy a membership to Linux Academy or A Cloud Guru. I reco Linux Academy because they have labs and a lot of other certificate courses. They have a sale going on for for black friday.
Cloudguru is good enough! Try doing the official practice tests once before you appear for the test! All the best!
