Get an opportunity to move to a SaaS team at Oracle. TC 220k. I’ve heard there are not many young people working there and I am 28. SaaS seems like a profitable area at Oracle though. Should I make the move?
Oracle is not a good place to go. They don't have a proper cloud strategy and they've been downsizing. Career wise I don't think it's a good move. Why not MS or GCP? I have colleagues who regretted moving to Oracle
You will get bored to death in SaaS.
Oracle is big NO , don’t look at the TC. Focus on brand n role.
TC pays the bills better than brand and role
SaaS pays more than OCI??!
Why not? SaaS is O’s revenue generator
Saas is not OCI?
I think take the salary bump..if Oracle doesn’t work out you can always leave the ship.
Doesn’t matter. If you go out of Amazon in good terms, probably they will hire you back if Oracle doesn’t work out.
With no interview?
Easier process, I have seen a lot of people coming back. Not sure about the actual process.
