AWS vs Azure

Which platform do you think will be more successful long term (from a revenue pov)? Which do you like using more for personal projects & why (objectively, ie an employee credit is not a valid reason here) PS: whats your best gcp joke

Considering recent gov order, I’d probably bet on MS. Personally, I like using GCP for personal projects, because it has best documentation for me. I find GCP white papers explaining conceptually how service works to be much easier to digest than list of APIs.

Yeah I’d agree

Neither.. open source in kubernetes. You can run on either or even on-prem. Eventually aws and azure will become utility and it won't matter what you use.

Hope we’d be still alive in that future

I think Azure and GCP will be better in future. AWS not sure, sure it had early to market advantage which is wearing off. Gov contract went to Azure. However, when I tried Azure a couple of years ago it was complicated unlike AWS.
