Can you help me on: Equivalent job grade of 66/67 at AWS, non-tech, sales and manager role outside of the US. What is the range of on hire RSUs and cash that can be offered? What is the maximum? What does BD really means at AWS? What is the equivalent at MS? How does yearly rewards work at AWS? Is it capped? How about RSUs?
BD means non RBI seller expected to do programmes. Think landing lead or industry specific SSP
MS 66-67 = AMZN L7 TC $300kish for non-technical. Base is capped at $160k for Seattle and $185k in SF, NY, so everything else is RSU. This is for fixed salary. Variable salary has different package based on your target and commission rate. Your TC may be much higher depending on how you perform. Sales and BD have a much higher TC due to commission. BD promotes use of particular service, portfolio of services, or vertical, etc. You need to meet customer usage/adoption goal in most cases.
BD at AWS is not very strategic like at MSFT. BD creates content, and works for mktg to drive pipeline programs. Mktg at AWS is a joke though. They basically create websites and run events, unlike at MSFT where he BG marketing teams are really deep, and leading the business. A partner level GM (L68) and MSFT is a L8 at AWS
