Big tech’s reputation gets sleazier by the day 😒 https://futurism.com/deaths-amazon-list-most-dangerous-employers
Maybe consumers should stop being so impatient to get delivery of their latest whim buy on amazon. It's a question of supply and demand. Lest we forget that and talk like hypocrites.
Um no it's not about supply and demand. It's about safe working conditions. Not saying I know anything about the details of what happened. But the consumer would be the last to be blamed here. Anyway here's the full list: Amazon.com Inc., Seattle Atlantic Capes Fisheries Co., Cape May, New Jersey, and the staffing firm it uses, B.J.’s Service Co Inc., New Bedford, Massachusetts Bedrock Detroit LLC, Detroit Beiza Brothers Harvesting LLC, Moultrie, Georgia Facebook Inc., Menlo Park, California, along with contractors Accenture PLC, Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp., PRO Unlimited Inc. and Tech Solutions Co. Genan Inc., Houston Integra Health Management Inc., Timonium, Maryland The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore McDonald’s USA LLC, Oak Brook, Illinois Purdue Pharmaceuticals LP, Stamford, Connecticut, and the opioid industry Tooma Enterprises Inc., Sterling Heights, Michigan XPO Logistics, Greenwich, Connecticut.
Interesting list of companies. But Amazon is the easy bogeyman for journalists
BS. We employ 800,000 people, this guy's death had nothing to do with working for Amazon.
Need more facts. Not trying to discount the sad and untimely deaths of these individuals, but what was their overall health prior to taking the job? Working in any warehouse is a very physical job and then you add the Amazon quotas...it’s a recipe for disaster.
