Hello I will be switching to airbnb in three weeks and I was wondering does Airbnb offer a computer, cell phone, and/or gym subsidy?
I heard they code on paper and the code gets typed to a computer at the end of the day by the data entry clerk.
You didn't ask about benefits/perks before accepting an offer???
I did but those were not mentioned. I have since synced with the recruiter and understand all the benefits/Perks. I'm going to miss all the Perks at Facebook. :(
Yes yes no
Thanks. Yes I probably shouldn't have asked about the computer. I was just being thorough
You are ok, you gave me an opportunity to break my likes record on Blind. ☺️
Email your recruiter - seriously he/she will be more than happy to share the details with you
Not good enough :(
Just found out the cell phone is a subsidy and it's bring your own device. I'm going to miss Facebook and my free device plus free full-speed international data roaming, calling, texting. I just realized this is like a ~$400/month contract on AT&T that I was receiving free.
Yeah I get a really sweet perk. I expense. $200/month phone bill, includes device financing. No one's gonna give me the same I don't think.
You can alternatively get a work phone + service all billed directly to Airbnb if you ask your manager. Tell them you don’t want to use your personal phone for work
What’s the cell phone subsidy in case you use your personal device? Does it cover the monthly on the phone as well? Any gym membership discounts?
$60/month towards your cell phone bill. And not much of a gym membership discount. I think at Fitness SF they charge Airbnb employees $60/month.
