What do you guys think of this? $170k salary $25k/year discretionary cash bonus $370k discretionary equity grant split over 4 years 4 YOE So $287k TC counting paper money. Considering they’re still private, is there any room to negotiate them up? I have at least 1 competing offer.
Co grats
Really good for 4 years of experience
you can probably get a cash signing bonus with a good competing offer
Apart from that, do you think it will be hard to get them to move up? For example in equity
Idk why everyone is saying it's a good offer. It's not that good of an offer. I make 300k TC at LinkedIn with real money with 3.5 yrs exp. The RSU's are low. You should be able to get closer to 500k RSU.
Humble brag
well, if you are an external hire with 3.5 yoe to LinkedIn, I doubt you will make 300k
yeah it’s a good offer but not like really good considering it’s paper money. I got 330k with 3 YoE
From Airbnb you mean?
Provide your interview questions and algorithms, or exit.

You need to get 400k at 4 yoe to qualify blind. But I agree with others you can try to get more RSU.
Luckily, I am qualified
Anyone open to refer someone to Airbnb?
L4? I think a cash signing bonus is definitely possible, and maybe some more RSUs. If it is L4, you can also ask for more salary, that's not the cap for the level
Yes L4. And thanks for the tip, that’s helpful. Do you think I can ask for those even if my competing offer isn’t better? I haven’t disclosed the details of my competing offer.
Probably, yes. My L4 offer had a sign-on of 20k, and I had no real competing offer, but I swear I got lucky and had a really good recruiter. 🤔
that’s great offer, congratulations 🎊
