We all know LeetCode grindings but does anyone used AlgoExpert (only or mostly) and got an offer? Is it as effective as they say? Two months with 70 coding questions and you are good to take on tech interviews.
I used it. Highly recommended if you are just starting out/ have trouble with solving the questions. But I won’t say it’s good enough for all the interviews. Definitely need to work on more questions but they do have a good collection of questions.
I would say, NO. They only have the famous questions. The community discussions on LC makes it a lot better than Algoexpert IMHO For a person starting interview prep, CTCI is a better way to get upto speed
I picked it up cause founded have out a 50% off discount code. Check guarav sen’s video on YT.So for like 50 bucks it’s well worth. Although nothing better than LC Premium.
Just leetcode and if you need a video explanation search YouTube most likely it’s there. And like someone else said algoexpert mostly covers famous algorithms which have in depth answers / videos all over for free
Don't buy . The software is buggy and very unwieldy . Use leetcode or premium lc
Not at all worth it. We get much better resources for free in YouTube than this paid resources
Not at all worth it. Wasted my money
Algoexpert is quite lame in comparison to Interview Kickstart content. If you want to understand the thought process, you should look at the IK content made by their curriculum head who is a Stanford CS Ph.D with a decade of experience and still doesn't call himself an expert on algorithms like these kids do. Algoexpert regurgitates the same old solutions. IK has novel solutions to many problems that I couldn't find online, plus unlike Algoexpert, there is tremendous focus on the thought process. But it is expensive.
absolute waste of money. So many youtube free content that is a lot better Leetcode and grocking the system design interview had value of money 1000 times than algoexert.
Good kickstart to brush up on concepts. They have a decent subset of problems. You can start with them and then continue to work out on LC mediums. I would suggest looking at Grokking the coding interviews too
Google kickstart and then to leetcode medium -> kickstart is mostly LC hard
