Shows what happens when you strap on a random engine, reposition the wings, and then try to fix everything with a control system. Mistake.

ah, another keyboard warrior to the rescue. A Broadcom engineer smarter than a team full of engineers at Boeing.

Maybe Not smarter than Boeing engineers, but hella smarter than the manager who made this decision.

I appreciate that you SWEs feel qualified to comment on HW issues, but do you have anything to say other than ad hominem attacks?

HW test cycles are unbelievably expensive, whereas software test cycles are free. In HW, you make the change and ask the question, do we need to test...Do we need to test everything...Do we need to test 2 samples, 10 samples, 100 samples, 1 million samples?

This is when your manager steps in to tell you the design was done yesterday and ships tomorrow

A lot of internet issues today too, related? I was just talking shit about the solar flare hitting us from when there was a coronal hole in the sun just a few days ago but maybe me blaming solar flares is accurate for once!

Naw, that could only happen in the 20th century. The sun is more modern now. It's next gen.

“Safety first”? ROFL. Is that why your CEO was calling Trump and lobbying that the airplane was safe just a couple days ago? No, Boeing realized that Trump was going to issue an executive order to ground the plane, so decided to try to save face.
