I have completed around 110 leetcode with 75 medium and now I am able to do most of the medium problems but it takes time to come up with solution. I am curious to know when people start applying and clear interview like what is their level of preparation? P.S: Looking for internship
If you search leetcode here you'll find people recommending being able to quickly solve a mix of hards and mediums.
Yes right 😊 but I am confused as lot of people say they never did leetcode and some say they just did 40-50 problems and received an offer.
They are lucky people. I know many who did medium and few hard and still got rejected because they were asked graph or complex backtracking.
Instead of doubting yourself, apply to low tier companies and find out. You build confidence, interview experience, and you get a competing off which never hurts
This is good advice! Starting and getting feedback will also keep you motivated.
No, I could not even pass stripe OA with that profile. As others have said apply and see
Amazon Microsoft and Facebook is handing over internships like candy you just need to interview with them, that’s the hard part getting an internship interview if those companies don’t come to your school.
I got rejected by Facebook even after applying via referral a week ago. Do you know when can I apply again?
How easy is it to convert internship to full time at these companies?
Honestly, you'll never know if you're good enough until you just try. Start interviewing with every non fang company you can to get interview experience and become more comfortable with the process. A lot of people at Google and Facebook took more than one time applying before they get hired, so start early
I mean...I did like 20 leetcode. Memorizing problems doesn't equate success.
