I work as an account executive for a large PR agency on the East Coast with big name clients. I have 6 years experience and my current salary is in the low 50’s.
No
What makes factors made you say no?
Try interviewing for similar positions to see what your market value is.
Seems low. New grads starting at 68k+ Dallas, much lower COL compared to out East. 6 YoE without trying you’d be making at least 80k most likely more with promotions. Good luck
What do you actually do all day? "Account executive" can mean a lot of things.
An Account Executive at a PR firm is usually a liaison between the client company and the PR firm, ensuring the needs of the client are clearly understood and conveyed to the firm. Their goal is to keep the client happy and a customer of the firm. OP, am I accurate here for your case?
Yes, that is accurate description
dont know industry standards for this role, but....NYC, not a new grad, presumably at least a bachelor's degree, 50K in 2019, unless this type of role is a critical stepping stone to something better, gonna say YES underpaid....
