Am i underpaid?
I am Sr TPM(L6) and my TC for 2019 is $176k. $200k for 2020. Looking at all the blind posts i feel like i am underpaid. Is it so? Location: Seattle YOE : 5

What is the band for a L6 TPM?
I had joined at 290k. But then I had interviewed for SDM and had good technical skills, but less on ppl management. So they offered me TPM. I joined and then transitioned to SDM in 3 months.
How much salary changed after you moved from TPM to SDM?
According to the resource that I used to negotiate and join at an L5 level, you are slightly below average for Seattle. The Seattle average for Sr. TPM is 188k. 75th percentile is 205k so you're not far off. Top earners in the same role have a TC of 225k and above.

That’s reasonable. Most blinders will lead you to believe you should be at 350k at least but that’s probably misleading.
