Amazon - Advice to find best team
SDE offer from Amazon TC 200k I'm currently talking to eng managers to find a good team to join. Any advice on how to find a great team?
I'm not sure how much flexibility I have to ask my recruiter to talk to different managers. Don't want to be disrespectful
If possibly find an area you are interested in. If you do not have one or cannot find one then think about what is most important to you and try to find a team close to that. If you want to talk about my org you can PM me

Ask about their on-call and ticket backlog.
This is useless. Hiring managers will frame it in a way that sounds good and is technically honest, but doesn’t admit to the problems.
Join any team in AWS. Then switch internally within a couple of months if you don’t like your current team. It is quite easy to move around inside amazon.
