Hi Everyone! I am a L6 financial analyst at Amazon. I am switching to a different finance team in next few weeks. There is no change in my level. My question is to fellow Amazonians who have switched teams internally before - should I expect an increase in my compensation when the new teams gives an offer or the compensation doesn't change? And if the new team offers me the same compensation, can I ask for a raise just like I would if I am switching companies?
Comp only changes if you're relocation to a location with higher baseline

Comp doesn’t change... if it’s the same level. However, you can ask your HM if you think you’ll be doing a lot more than your current role and see what they say. Be prepared if they say no... Also remember that if you’re doing a lot more, does that mean you’ll get set up for promo in the next couple of cycles (automatic comp increase)? Things to discuss with your new team!
Thanks for the advice! Some good points to discuss with HM.
