Amazon AWS SDE II/L5 Offer Eval

Base: 150k Sign-on: 70k first year, 58k second year RSUs: 180k, vesting schedule: 5%/15%/40%/40% TC: ~230k YoE: 5 SDE II/L5 Thoughts? Where should I focus my comp negotiation? This is in Seattle. EDIT: I also have a pending offer from Google, but AWS is only giving me till Tuesday to make a decision. I've already told my Google recruiter this is happening, but I'm not sure it will get through the hiring committee in time. I'm currently trying to ask AWS for more time.

Did they give you the # of RSU’s or just a $ value? P.S it upper end of SDEII band for Seattle, maybe $10k-15k more if you can negotiate per year.

TC 250k+ shouldn’t be a problem, ask for more sign on and RSU. You can also shoot for 280k+, if you think your interview performance is exceptional.

Thanks, this helps. I did find the AWS recruiter to be awfully aggressive, unlike Google's.

OP here, don’t know why blind app doesnt sync a changed user name... Anyway, asked for 250k TC and they upped the sign in bonus to 83/65. Said I am at the top if the band. It looks pretty good to me as is, and unless google offers something stronger, it looks like I will take it.
