Amazon Application Job Status
Finished an on-site at amazon on Monday. For the longest time, it was showing that I was “under consideration” based on the date I applied. Just today it switched to “application submitted” with today’s date?? Does this potentially mean no offer? It’s not showing up in the archive section as “no longer considered” 🤷♂️
Could mean application submitted for offer :)

Over thinking yo, under consideration means often means Onsite interview. I would guess the status change is a good thing to have
When I was going through the interview process at Amazon, I tried to decipher this too. Unfortunately, there is nothing useable there. After I accepted my offer and started working, it still said under consideration. A lot of times candidates will get shuffled between job reqs due to availability and fit. This isn’t always reflected in you application and lead to non-accurate status. The only source of truth is your recruiter.
I just had tech screen with Amazon and after that, the status changed from ‘under consideration’ to ‘application submitted’. I am assuming this is a bug or feature in their end every time status is updated.

I had the same experience when I interviewed in August. I made it to the final round, an onsite interview of 5 45-min back-to-back-to-back interviews with various stakeholders. I thought I did well but I don't think I convinced all of them, I think the hiring manager and the bar raiser liked me, but was unsure of the rest. My interview was a Friday and I was getting anxious and checked amazon.jobs that weekend if there was something to see there. I saw that my status had switched from "under consideration" to "application submitted." On Monday the recruiter emailed to schedule a phone call, and on Tuesday I learned I was rejected. They give feedback about the interview though, which helps you in the future. I was given a 6 month cooling off and was encouraged to re-apply then.
Hi all, I had a first round phone interview with Amazon and a few days later my application went from 'Under Consideration' to 'Application Submitted', does that mean I didn't get to the next round? Has anyone gone to the next round after this kind of a status update?
I'm sorry man, but it means that they couldn't pass you and close the application. Amazon uses workday for thier Applicant tracking system (ATS) and once they complete the application in workday the dashboard will be updated. Good luck man
