Amazon BIE
Got verbal confirmation and awaiting formal offer from Amazon for BIE. What is the salary range at L4 and how is the role? How are the prospects of moving to DE or Data Science? Also is the BIE role at Amazon considered non-tech?

Role varies a lot depending on your team. Broadly, the role usually involves you doing slight data engineering work (like creating data sets), building dashboards, writing queries and automating processes. I think l4s get upto 100 base plus RSU. I have seen a lot of people move from BIE family to DE and Data science. However leveling is different in DE and DS because they are tech and as of today BIE is not, so you'll likely have to spend sometime in your BIE role before you can move.
