Amazon Background Check
Hello, Submitted background check last Thursday. Accurate Background has said “takes under a day” for avg candidate. Been five business days, still waiting at 90% of its loading bar. Feel like loading bar is fake. This is international, so check includes employment history. How long did yours take? My start date is two Mondays away from now. Already gave two weeks - what are the chances Amazon will push back on start date? YOE 3 TC 180k
Mine too about 5 business days then I got a "meets requirements" confirmation email. But I still don't have my MyDocs HR portal docs emailed to me yet. But I start in about 3.5 weeks.

Ah relocation may be why your process could be taking longer. But still doesnt say why ours are opposites; shouldnt MyDocs be the last part AFTER background comes back? Doesnt make much sense lol. I sent client recruiter another follow up email today. If I dont hear back i'm going to CC my technical recruiter and my new HM.

You’re fine. No news isn’t necessarily bad news. Unless there’s something on there that you didn’t tell them about.
Mine finished in 3hours but it took Amazon a week to get the results.
I only had to give my passport number and I received success notification in 5 min. Was it similar to anyone else?
Did you get confirmation from recruiter?
My check is expected to take 45 days (estimate from the background check team themselves) b/c they are pulling a German background check.
What do they check?
For me it was criminal, employment, education
What do you mean employment? Do they just check that you actually worked at your previous employer for the time you said you did?
