What is the package like at amazon? Looking to make a change and was wondering what the compensation was like? Above/below market? Any cool perks?
You need to provide more details, role, experience, location etc. it definitely does not suck if you have the right combination of the above, and you raise the bar in your field.

I've heard their benefits is lacking but supposedly they make up for it in pay.
You'll have to sharpen your own pencils there. They don't provide mechanical pencils.
Amazon has the worst benefits of any company I have ever worked for and that includes startups. The upside is the pay is really good and I can work from home whenever I want, which is really nice in my situation.
