I have onsite interview with Amazon in couple of days. The interview is for cloud support engineer. Have anyone recently attended this interview for the post ? If yes, please share your experience and some questions asked during the interview.
Just to update ... I was selected by Amazon. Also, I declined the offer as the offer was 2 post below for which I gave interview and salary was way too less than what I milk currently.
How was your Onsite ? What questions were asked and how bad was the package that was offered ?
It was easy not that great questions were asked. I had 2 concerns when they offered me the job. First, the position and second the salary. They were offering a salary of a fresher to 9 years experienced professional and HR was recommending to take a salary cut just to join the Amazon brand.
What did they offer you ? In terms of TC ?
Hmmm what level did they attempt to offer you the role ?
I am currently in the same situation.. The package is too far less compare to what I currently make. The package is $90/$21/27RSU. Do you think this is a good package for Dallas CSE I? I tried to negotiate but the recruiter said the manager is firm on the package. Also, I have an offer from Intel which is better than this. I am just considering Amazon because of the location. Please advise.
Nopes... it’s a very bad salary. Moreover the attitude of hiring manager and HR was like my way or highway . I rejected the offer
The same attitude that I got from the recruiter. My way or the highway. Did rejecting the offer make them rethink and possibly readjust your offer?
How much TC they offered?
Don’t expect anybody to reveal actual questions. You should expect grilling in Linux scripting and possibly a programming language of your choice, computer networking is a must, all prep material sent over to you by the recruiter is helpful, don’t ignore any topic
Thank you .
