So like Whole Foods, but with an Amazon logo?

Right! Hearing it is more conventional grocery, less focus on organics.

We already have fresh right?

Amazon c1648!dy@ Oct 3, 2019

Right but this is different see, we needed a 3rd grocery entrant into the space lol

My fresh credit card charges are now showing as “amazon grocery” and the packing has gone downhill in the last few weeks. No dry ice in the freezer bags and the larger paper bags with the handles haven’t been used.

You already have Go stores, they're supposed to build more.

I have the launch date... Or maybe I don't have it. Can't tell

Wow..compulsive much? Just because wet wipes here asked this qn doesn't mean you have to spill it all out. Being anonymous doesn't mean you can just say stuff that is supposed to be under wraps. Even if you want to share it, sharing it to a journo and getting paid would make more logical sense. At least you'd be doing someone at Amazon a favor then. Smh

He shared the most obvious stuff with an Amazon username and some confidence. This is nothing new.

Taking over the world!

This was publicly announced by Amazon like a year ago

Kimberly-Clark BroBrah OP Oct 3, 2019

Right, w/o much detail.

Amazon Notpresent Oct 3, 2019

it’d fail miserably if it’s another Kroger store.

Amazon Atheist Oct 3, 2019

Hope it has the Go model. I like not having to deal with checking out.

Amazon yBsg63 Oct 3, 2019

It's not a Go store

Amazon Atheist Oct 3, 2019

I get that, but there's no reason that can't be the future of shopping, especially for an Amazon store.

If there has been something announced to the public then search in publications first and you would have answers. If not announced, there is not much business of anyone saying anything here without breaking confidentiality agreements and breaking federal insider trading laws. Some things feel like public knowledge to amazonians who might know for a long time. I don't know the answer to this question, but there are dozens of nonpublic products in the works. Some will never see daylight. Amazonians have no business publishing here other than some disinformation, which doesn't help. Obviously, we have Whole Foods, we have Fresh, and it could evolve in any number of ways that could make sense within customer first and scalibility.
