I left Amazon recently. Today, I opened Fragomen portal and found a "withdrawal" case. It doesn't say whether it's for H1B or I140. My I-140 was approved within last 6 months. Is there a way I can know what is being withdrawn? Has anybody else gone through this?
With your case ids for both h1b and i140 you can uscis site and know for which revocation request is sent by amzn
Neither of them shows a revocation request
You can check the receipt number status on the USCIS website
There's no receipt number on the portal
The receipt number for your H-1B petition is printed on the I-797.
Which one was it?
Did you ever figure out which one was it?
Nope
Got a response from attorney. It's the H1b.
OP would much appreciate you sharing which one was it? In a similar boat here and your response would be very helpful. Thanks.
OP here. My I-140 case status still says Approved. So it must have been the H1B.
OP @ppp: So is it safe to assume that amazon doesn't revoke approved i-140s? My PERM is still pending for 5 months but as soon as that's done I plan on applying for a PP i-140 and switch jobs. Any recommendation? I don't feel like staying another year here
Awesome thanks 🙏
It's H1B. I was in a similar situation and confirmed with Fragomen.

Most likely H-1B because companies are required to report and withdraw after a beneficiary leaves. Usually companies don't withdraw I-140. It takes additional paperwork to do that and any sane company would just stick to doing the bare minimum.
