Amazon Interview experience

Thought I'd share my interview experience at Amazon recently. - 4 rounds in total, an hour each - each round had about 30 mins of LPs - 1 system design - 1 OOP design - 2 coding rounds - coding questions were LC mediums I'd say I liked the overall experience, esp the design rounds that went into depth. I am uncertain which of these was the bar raiser interview though.

Bar Raiser would be 5th 1 if you are interviewing for SDE2 and above.

Not necessarily true since I didn't find anything special about the last round interview. Also in a batch interview process I would assume most of interviewers just round Robin.

BR usually don't happen on batch interview process. People having at least 2 inclined will get to BR

He went into Blitz. Bar raiser is any person who’s not from that org.

for design interviews, did they stop you a lot and ask questions? or do they just let you flow like other companies?

The mid way interruptions are supposed to give direction to the design process.
