Lot of my friends are calling me to understand amazon 14 leadership principles. After that they are making up some examples. This is happening specially in India, where lots of third grade talent is entering in Amazon to fulfill greed for Amazon shares. Indian leadership contains only incompetent directors and senior managers who are in hiring spree to keep a useless charter. Any idea how to stop such thing to stop wrong hiring in India Amazon ( for both amazon.in and amazon.com), also is there any way to remove these Sr. Mgrs and dirs, who are incompetent and are doing a lot of harm to Amazon from India. Better to re-interview these useless crooks and then show them the doors.
Stop answering them about the specifics on LPs and interview. If the candidates are natural fit to Amazon then they would generally do well without knowing specifics of LPs and what the interviewers expect. Everything else they can generally figure out from the web.
They are friends, so it's difficult to stop answering them. I think some change in interview process is needed
I got an offer from FAAGU but never considered Amazon because of their low hiring bar. I know so many of them who are very bad at designing/coding working in AWS Seattle/Palo Alto. You can't do anything because Amazon hires a lot of shitty talent because of their growing business.

I find this issue very common in India. Here the bar is all time low. It seems all the waste candidate pool is in Amazon. Not sure why is this not taken seriously.
But it is true, almost exclusively, all of the incompetent people I have worked with were part of Amazon India
