Have a amazon onsite interview coming up this week. Recruiter told that I'll get the decision on the same day(bringing multiple candidates in). Want to know if I am going be interviewed by amazon folks or will have debugging style interview where you have to fix a project. Will appreciate any insights.
Where is the onsite?
Seattle
This should be a half a day event, (AM or PM) I have seen 50 minute interviews with 10 minute breaks in between so 4 hours. I dont think you will be fed lunch. You will be made to sit in a single room (there will be possibly 3 other candidates in 3 other rooms), 4 interviewers that rotate around to meet each one of you. After the interviews the interviewers get together, capture feedback and discuss the outcome. From a candidate standpoint, interview blitz or normal interview - shouldn't make a difference. It can be harder on the interviewers :( In general, for SDE2, you should have three coding interview and one design interview. There should be a criss cross of leadership principles for each interview. Posted bits and pieces in a different thread, cleaning up the content and reposting. Good luck!

Finally something to put ChatGPT a run for its money?
Amazon folks, usual interview process, except it might be shorter, 4 interviews instead of 5. Its just a blitz hire, pretty common.
Thanks for quick reply!
