Some of my Amazon friends tell me I should report my manager if he didn’t inform me. Is it true?
There are two ways to look at this. 1. Your manager was being sneaky. 2. Your manager was avoiding a pip by giving you a chance to improve first and only the put you on a pip. Which interpretation really depends on your relationship with manager.
No. The dev list is a coaching list. It’s HR’s way of tracking we’re actually coaching our underperformers. We are not supposed to communicate it to employees. It’s well before a PIP, not instead of one.
You're supposed to inform your employees, and must tell them so if they ask.
No actually he don’t need to do this. They should not tell you Dev plan. But if. You ask openly in a 1:1 they need to admit it. Pip is something else
