Amazon L6 Cupertino / salary expectations
Hey everyone, Just received a call from amazon-aws that they’re making me an L6 offer. Recruiter asked me for salary expectations (sde with 13 yoe). What’s a good annual comp range to ask (bay area)?

Accept anything around 380k, they’ll go max till 400k AFAIK. Beyond that will require VP approval

As a new hire you should get anywhere in the upper half of the band, so 345-380k

Bay Area range is higher, you are talking about the range in Seattle. But yeah 380k is a great number for external hire
