Amazon L6 TPM lowballed???

I got an offer from Amazon for the position of L6 TPM in Seattle

Base: 155K
RSU: 70 (4 years)
Sign on: 45 K (1st year) 40K (second year)
Relocation: 15K

I have 20 YOE and make 184K TC in texas.

I have 1 counter offer of 220K in NJ. The amazon recruiter said that there is very little room for negotiation.

I really feel that I’m being lowballed. How much can I negotiate? Is this a good offer?

      Man, are you sure about that? I've been a hiring manager here for a few years. I've been in both retail and digital. I've also had an offer from AWS. The comp bands are fixed company wide. It's possible a more competitive team will be willing to move more within that band, but that's on a case by basis. Moving outside requires director level exceptions.

      That's my understanding. It's completely possible I'm wrong about something and I apologize if I do. Are you basing this on just one experience or do you have some actual insight on this?

      Y-1: 155 + 45 + 7 (5% of 70 stocks) = 207
      Similar numbers for following years.

    Exactly. Texas has no state tax and housing is 50% of Seattle

    Don't think it's lowball. AFAIK, that's how much TPMs make. L6 engineers and engineering managers make more.

    Did a negotiation call with recruiter. Finally I managed to get 215K TC, 80 Units RSU and 15K relocation lump sum.

      Wow, they bumped your RSUs by 10 units over four years. They can probably sense that you are on the verge of accepting, because that is quite a low offer.
