Amazon L6 salary range
What is the Amazon L6 sr data engineer salary range. One of my friend got offer from Amazon L6 sr data engineer offered 145 base 30k & 29k bonus first 2 years and 96 RSU. Is this good offer or can ask more?

I would expect it to be 130+ base
I got a lvl 5 153k 75k sign on, 125k in stock. Aws SA role. Not in bay area or Seattle.

These salaries are way way higher than we get at Amazon.
These days L6 salaries are really weird.. earlier it used to have a very specific range and all external hires and internal emp used to fall in that range.. now I see L6 offers from 180k TC to 350k tc..
Take it, if you don't have any competing offer.... since you are getting L6 offer, it's easier to get refresher and raises in future as L6 band extend up to 350k..
What are the band ranges for L5 and L6?
