Amazon L6 to L7 promo offer
Note I am based outside of the US (but not IN!) Value in USD. Promoted L6 to 7 in 18 months. TT in AR. Interested to hear whether my L7 promo salary is a low ball offer. Current L6 comp (manager, PM) Base 112K TC 152k New L7 comp (snr manager, PM) Base 135 K TC 203 K Would also be interested on thoughts on how hard I can push as manager seems to think is a decent offer.

It's a good raise and reasonable. Stay put, your TC so eventually balance out.
Why are Amazon pm levels so inflated relative to pay? You're making barely better than entry level TC at any other FANG... Edit: it's because you're not in Seattle, that makes sense then
L5 is entry-level for PMs (and SDMs). (L4 for SDEs.) Not sure why they chose that, but that's how it goes. Pay in Europe is very low too.
Seattle L7 TC is >$500k
My guess is Europe. Salaries in LUX and LHR are nearly half that of the US.
500 for L7 is not realistic. It's around ~350. Some old timers maybe but don't believe anything without seeing someone's payslip

If in Canada, or anywhere except the US then forget it. They never pay kinda of money.
