Amazon L7 is What at Google?
Hi, What is the equivalent of L7 Amazon at Google? Also what is the process for switching roles—groups or functions at Google. I know that Amazon does not have a min time in role requirement and is fairly flexible within non engineering functions. How does this compare w Google? Thanks!

Almost all L6+ from Amazon I knew who joined Google hated it and left after one year.
IMO Amazon L5 -> Google L4 + low end of L5. Amazon L6 -> Google L5 + low end of L6 Amazon L7 -> Google L6 + some_from_L7 (at this point I am not sure where the overlap ends as I don't have enough data points).
In 2023, Amazon L7 = Google L7. Google levels are highly inflated especially for folks who are long timers. New employees used to get down leveled but things have changed with new hiring model
