How’s the culture in the organization? How are the TPMs? How’s the work life balance?
Not a hardware centric company, don’t join if you have other options.
My interviewer had asked, "How comfortable are you with micro managing?". I decided not to go for the onsite.
LoL. I thought the stupid LP stuff was the bar.
LP’s are not stupid, they are core to how many of us are empowered to operate as leaders at every level without being a manager. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea to get it or like it, but it ain’t stupid.
So many different orgs at Lab126 and none of them are same culture wise or WLB. Just avoid FireOS and FireTV organizations if you are into software side, all the folks who did shit left for other orgs, it’s mostly upkeep of products and inventing projects to justify their existence.
There is definitely a lack of soul, from what I can tell after interviewing with Alexa. People were monotonous as shit. Can't tell about other things.
