I'm working on LP examples for onsite interview. Recruiter explicitly mentioned that I can take example notes with me. Don't you think it will look weird if I answer to interviewer "one moment, let me check with my notes"? I have good examples that I recovered from my deep memory storage, but in stressful situation I can go blank and may not recall any.
Take notes anyway. You have a bit of time in between interviews where you can refresh yourself on the LPs. I didn't bring notes on my scenarios but I did print out a list of the LPs themselves to remind myself what they were between each interview. Helped a bit and ended up passing.
The interview is conducted in multiple sessions with different interviewers, just bring them with and do a quick refresher between sessions (you will have some time). Try to avoid using irrelevant examples, depending on the role they are looking for specific LPs to be touched on in your examples. Each interviewer goes in with specific LPs assigned to them so get a feel and save irrelevant examples for next round where you might have a better use for them.
Thank you for advice! Would you recommend reusing less relevant examples to avoid saying nothing at all?
Try to avoid reusing examples, but you will be doing muliptle rounds of interview so some carry over is acceptable
How are the LPs during phone screens? Is it just 1 and it’s the exact one recruiter mentions in prep email?
It is not going to be the exact one, but depending on the role of you can probably get a feel pretty quickly what they are looking for, ie. Dive deep for an example of a time you used data to solution a problem
They asked me one LP related question, that is pretty simple. To tell about most impactful project. The fun part is that you will get asked a few more questions. So you should be able to elaborate on your original story.
As someone mentioned, bring notes to review anyway. I had a couple minutes between each session, and at one point there was a mix-up and I was left for 10 min while they tried to track down a missing interviewer. Even a min or 2 is enough to read through them quickly. I got asked one LP question 3x in a row by different people. I only had 2 examples for that LP so I reused it but phrased it a bit more specifically for the person I was talking to.
What was the question you were asked 3 times if you don’t mind sharing?

Yes I think it would be a little weird. I understand your situation, but I think it would be better to practice with someone.
Yeah, that's what I was worried. :( Difficult part for me, more than coding
