Amazon London SDE vs Facebook London Enterprise Engineer
Asking for a friend. I am confused between these 2offers. Amazon London: SDE1 Facebook London: Enterprise Engineer IC3 TC for these will be almost similar or matched. Execpt TC, what aspects of these firms are better compared to another in terms of role, culture and WLB for London location specifically? Any help in this is highly appreciated! Thanks 😄
Always choose SDE. Enterprise Engineer is downgrade, they don't know anything about scalability

How is an SWE title within enterprise org like?
Enterprise engineer is not swe. It's a lower category and to get to swe you'll need to interview again. Don't take that.
Hey khvcxza, I understand that there are interviews involved to convert from ee to sde at Facebook. But other than that, what are the differences? In terms of career ladder, culture, WLB, people and politics (assuming for now, compensation being similar)
Compensation is higher for swe.
