Amazon Offer Deadline Extension
Got offer today and deadline for offer is Oct 5th. Am still waiting for result from a few places including G. How do I ask the recruiter to extend the deadline? If possible, how much can I extend to usually? Worst case, can I accept and later tell them I found a better offer? I am H1B and will need to wait for 4 months anyway.
State the same. That will do
Recruiter knows the game.. I was told by an extra two days. Hard to time everything right. If you like TC and team, just accept the offer
You mean accept and reject later if G offers?
I meant that if you like the amazon offer just accept it. They know that they might use that offer to get a better offer somewhere else so they won’t wait for you/or play the game
You can try but, they may rescind the offer.
If your interviews went well no hiring manager will rescind an offer because you took couple of extra days. Just tell them you will let them know by X date. I have had people who made me wait up to a month.
